Sunway
Sunway is a German company specialised in making outdoor pants. Special about these pants is that they are available in a wide range of non standard sizes. Pleasant for the non standard size customer. All the sizes and a selection of the Sunway models are available on this website. Some of the non standard sizes are not kept in stock and are made to order, so expect about 4 weeks between ordering and delivery for these sizes.

Choosing Sunway pants means choosing a model, colour, size, but also the material the pants are made from. The following materials are available:

Multi-Function: a lightweight material, wind, water and dirt resistant, breathable and UV-proof. This is not the material for hiking pants for demanding terrain. Pants made from this material are useful to wear during warm weather and when you have arrived at your destination for the evening or have a rest day.

LongStretch: a general purpose material which is wind, water and dirt resistant, breathable and elastic lengthwise. This is a good material for your hiking pants when on a Trail that is somewhat demanding on your clothing; Trails on paved and unpaved roads and on tracks on a non rocky surface.

MultiTex: a robust but comfortable material which is water and dirt resistant, breathable and elastic in two directions. This is a good material for your hiking pants on a Trail that is demanding on your clothing, for instance on uneven tracks in rocky terrain.
For terrain that puts a high demand on your clothing, the Alpine pants are available. Made from MultiTex, the material is doubled on vulnerable areas. Unfortunately only a few non standard sizes are available.

As mentioned, not all available Sunway models are shown. But when you visit the Sunway website and you find another model to your liking and that is available in your size, just mail Walking Trails and it will be delivered to you.
